Summer is good

Hydrangea, my favorites

It pays off not using chemicals in the garden. It is years since I saw one like this the last time!

A little bit of work and..

A little bit of relaxing.

Unexpected vacation

You all know about the economical situation all around the world. In the enterprise where my husband is working they are on short labour since April this year. Things did not get better since and so the management decided to close down business for the whole month of July...

So there we were with a looot of time to-and a bit less of money to spend!

And then our neighbour suggested we could take their caravan and head off...wow!!

And we did it.

I changed a shift in the hospital and in less than 24 hours we had packed and were on the road to here.

And then we went in the mountains and the temperature changed, verrry much!

There was snow falling down to 1500m. !!

But the weather was fine enough to make some nice walks.

Enjoying stunning views.

In this area most of the houses are beautifully painted.

But for now, there is laundry and gardening time around here, then my scheduled shift has to be catch ed up but i really hope to find a tiny little bit of crafting time here and there. I had time to make many many plans for many many projects...
...Including a
GIVEAWAY
I was thinking about since a little while.
So stay tuned

A lucky girl ..

..that's what I am! I recived a package from Australia today. Rachel was my partner in the pincushion swap and look how generous she is, added all these goodies...she also included a quilt pattern from Leanne's House but I already unwrapped it and forgot to put it back for the picture!

Look at these tiny,tiny stitches...

...and the fabric...and the pattern....!!
A lucky girl I am, indeed!
THANK you so much Rachel.

Hope you all have a lucky day too!

Time for me

I had a little time for myself today and of course I spend it sewing. I made a notebook cover out of some Amy Butler fabric. It is for Lynn's Kindergarten teacher. I didn't follow a pattern just mesured and sewed along.

This vintage pillowcase was waiting to become a lovely nightgown ever since I bought it last winter. Today was the day and I would love to wear it myself...
I wish you sweet dreams
